Biography
Irving Azoff is an American record executive, talent manager and film producer. Born in Danville, Illinois, he began his career managing artists including REO Speedwagon and Dan Fogelberg before moving to Los Angeles in 1972. He later managed the Eagles and founded management and record companies including Front Line Management and Giant Records.
Azoff produced the films Fast Times at Ridgemont High (1982), Urban Cowboy (1980), Jack Frost (1998) and The Inkwell (1994), and was executive producer of The Hurricane (1999). He has also appeared as himself in documentaries including Artifact (2012) and an episode of Documentary Now! (2015).
