Biography
Isabel Gillies is an American actress and author. She graduated from New York University with a BFA in film and made her screen debut as Cynthia McLean in Whit Stillman's independent film Metropolitan (1990).
Gillies is known for her recurring role as Kathy Stabler in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (1999–2011), with later appearances including in Law & Order: Organized Crime (2021–2025). Other credits include I Shot Andy Warhol (1996), an episode of the original Law & Order (1998) as Monica Johnson, and Sex and the City (1998). She has written memoirs including Happens Every Day, a New York Times bestseller, and Cozy.
