Biography
Isabella Nefar is an Iranian-British actor. She trained at the Scuola Paolo Grassi in Milan and at LAMDA in London.
Her theatre credits include the title role in Salomé at the National Theatre, Goats at the Royal Court and Jude at Hampstead Theatre. Screen work includes Waiting for the Barbarians (2019), Small City (2021), Profeti (2023), Reading Lolita in Tehran (2024) as Yassi, and the BBC series The Gold (2023) as Bank Cashier Francesca-May. She is also known for the one-woman show My English Persian Kitchen, which sold out at the 2024 Edinburgh Festival Fringe and transferred to the Soho Theatre.
