Biography

Isaiah Robinson is an American actor and tenor. Born in Chicago, Illinois, he played the Lost Boy Pockets in Steven Spielberg’s 1991 film Hook and performed on its soundtrack. He later appeared as Curtis in the 2005 film Dead at the Box Office and featured in several television and radio commercials as a child.

Robinson trained as a vocalist in church and with the Chicago Children’s Choir. He has performed with artists including Aretha Franklin, Chaka Khan, Mavis Staples, Yo-Yo Ma and Chance the Rapper, and was the featured vocalist at the 2011 inauguration of Chicago mayor Rahm Emanuel. He works as a teaching artist with organisations in Chicago and serves as musician and choirmaster at a local church.
