Biography
Iska Khan was a French actor of Kalmyk origin. Born on 10 July 1924 in Boukine, Yugoslavia, he began his career as a professional wrestler in the 1950s and early 1960s, performing under the name 'Iska Khan, the Tibetan champion'. He later transitioned to acting, appearing in numerous films and television productions from the 1960s onwards, often in small roles portraying Asian or East Asian characters.
Khan is known for his part as the Asian Client in Belle de Jour (1967). Other credits include Les Femmes d'abord (1963), Le Dix-septième ciel (1965), Nikita (1990) and Bed and Board (1970). He died on 13 June 2006 in Paris.
