Biography
Izabella Miko is a Polish actress, dancer and producer. Born Izabella Anna Mikołajczak on 21 January 1981 in Łódź, she is the daughter of actors Grażyna Dyląg and Aleksander Mikołajczak. She trained as a ballerina at the Chopin Music School in Warsaw and, at the age of 15, received a scholarship to study at the School of American Ballet in New York. She later studied acting at the Lee Strasberg Institute.
Miko made her American film debut as Cammie in Coyote Ugly (2000). Subsequent film roles include The Forsaken (2001), Save the Last Dance 2 (2006) and Step Up: All In (2014). On television she has appeared in Deadwood, Chicago Fire and other series. She has also featured in music videos for The Killers and works as an environmental activist.
