Biography
J.J. Makaro is a Canadian stunt coordinator, stunt performer, second unit director and occasional director and actor. His early screen credit was as the character B.C. in the 1987 film Stakeout.
He has coordinated stunts on numerous feature films including Night at the Museum (2006), Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian (2009), The Twilight Saga: New Moon (2009), Scary Movie (2000) and the Final Destination series. On television he has worked extensively on Arrow (2012–2017), serving as stunt coordinator and directing two episodes, and on The Flash (2014) as stunt coordinator and director. He has received Leo Award and Taurus World Stunt Award nominations for his stunt coordination.
