Biography
Jack Bernstein is a Canadian writer and producer. Born in Vancouver, British Columbia, he is credited with the story and screenplay for the film Ace Ventura: Pet Detective (1994), alongside Tom Shadyac and Jim Carrey, and with the characters for Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls (1995).
Bernstein has written episodes for numerous television series, including Silk Stalkings (1991), Monk (2002), NCIS (2003), The Dresden Files (2007), Royal Pains (2009) and NCIS: New Orleans (2014). He has also worked as a producer on several of these shows.
