Biography
Jack Casey is a British television director. He is known for directing episodes of the BBC police drama Blue Lights (2023–), including the final block of series 2 and the opening block of series 3. Series 2 won the 2025 BAFTA for Best Drama Series, as well as RTS NI and Broadcast awards.
Casey directed all three series of the CBBC drama Almost Never (2019–2021) and wrote an episode of the third series. His other directing credits include the short films Forbearance (2017) and Little Star (2018). He previously worked as a first assistant director and second unit director on multiple television productions.
He is based in Manchester and represented by Independent Talent. He is currently directing on the third series of Sherwood for the BBC.
