Biography
Jack Dolgen is an American television writer, producer and director. He began his career as a musician, playing bass in the New York band Sam Champion and releasing the solo albums Maricopa (2010) and Wandering Times (2012).
Dolgen is a longtime collaborator of comedian Rachel Bloom, co-writing songs for her projects including music videos. He wrote six episodes and directed one episode of the musical series Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (2015–2019), also serving as producer on the show. He created the series Pretty Smart (2021) and wrote an episode of The Afterparty (2022).
