Biography
Jack Ellis is a British theatre and television actor. Born in London in 1955, he was educated at Highgate School and is the younger brother of actor Robin Ellis and director Peter Ellis.
His television roles include DI Tony Muddyman in Prime Suspect (1991–1995), Jim Fenner in Bad Girls (1999–2005), and appearances in series such as Highlander: The Series (1992), Heartbeat, Coronation Street (as Harry Mason, 2007–2008), Vera (2011) and New Tricks (2004). On stage he has worked with the Royal Shakespeare Company and appeared in productions including A Few Good Men (2005) and The Crucible (2014).
