Biography
Jack Goessens is a Dutch-born editor and director based in the UK. He trained at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, specialising in post-production, and began working as an assistant editor on the Starz series Outlander shortly after graduating. He has since edited episodes across several series of the show, including serving as UK editor.
Goessens directs and writes his own short films. His 2021 short Everyman, commissioned by the Scottish Documentary Institute, won an RTS Award and was shortlisted for a Grierson Award. He is developing his debut feature Boifriend as writer-director, supported by BFI Network and Screen Scotland funding. He has also edited other series including Everything Now (2022) for Netflix and River City for the BBC.
