Biography
Jack Klugman was an American actor of stage, film and television. He played Juror 5 in the 1957 film 12 Angry Men.
He starred as Oscar Madison opposite Tony Randall in the television series The Odd Couple (1970–1975) and as the title character in Quincy, M.E. (1976–1983). Klugman received three Primetime Emmy Awards from ten nominations. His other film credits include Days of Wine and Roses (1962) and Goodbye, Columbus (1969).
Born in Philadelphia, Klugman trained at Carnegie Mellon University and began working in New York theatre and live television in the early 1950s.
