Biography
Jack Michon (1934–2009) was an American television editor and producer. He began his career editing news footage for NBC, including reports from the Vietnam War, and later produced the newsmagazine series 28 Tonight for KCET-TV in Los Angeles.
Michon edited 14 episodes of the sitcom Taxi (1980–1981) and shared a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Achievement in Film Editing for a Series in 1981. He also edited episodes of Buffalo Bill (1983–1984) and worked as assistant editor on the feature film North Dallas Forty (1979). As a producer, his credits include associate producer on Best of the West (1981) and Just Our Luck (1983), supervising producer on Amen (1986–1987), and producer on the television films Terror at London Bridge (1985) and Sins of the Father (1985).
