Biography
Sir Jackie Stewart, also credited as Sir John Young Stewart, is a British former racing driver and broadcaster. Born on 11 June 1939 in Milton, Dunbartonshire, Scotland, he competed in Formula One from 1965 to 1973, winning three World Drivers' Championships with the Tyrrell team in 1969, 1971 and 1973.
After retiring from racing, Stewart worked as a television commentator, particularly in the United States, and as a motorsport executive. He has appeared in numerous documentaries, including as himself (archive footage) in the 2010 film Senna.
