Biography
Jacob Appelbaum is an American independent journalist, computer security researcher and hacker. He was born on 1 April 1983 in the USA.
Appelbaum was a core member of the Tor Project and contributed to the publication of documents leaked by Edward Snowden. He appears as himself in Laura Poitras's documentary Citizenfour (2014) and in her film Risk (2016).
