Biography
Jacob Matschenz is a German actor. Born on 8 January 1984 in Pankow, Berlin, he began acting during his school years after an unsuccessful casting led to a role in the 2001 graduation film Kleine Kreise.
He is known for roles in The Wave (2008) as Dennis, 12 Paces Without a Head (2009), The Sinking of the Laconia (2010) as Mannesmann, Never Look Away (2018) and Undine (2020). Matschenz received the Adolf Grimme Award in 2008 for An die Grenze and the Bayerischer Filmpreis for Bis aufs Blut (2010).
