Biography
Jacob Smith is an American former actor. Born on 21 January 1990 in Monrovia, California, he began acting as a child and appeared in guest roles on television series including Walker, Texas Ranger (1997).
He was cast as Owen Salinger on the series Party of Five (1994), appearing in 40 episodes across seasons five and six from 1998 to 2000. Subsequent credits include the Disney Channel film Phantom of the Megaplex (2000), Small Soldiers (1998), Dragonfly (2002), Hansel & Gretel (2002), Cheaper by the Dozen (2003) and its 2005 sequel as Jake Baker, and a role in Troy (2004).
Smith's final screen work was in 2006. He received several Young Artist Award nominations for his performances.
