Biography
Jacqueline Dalya was an American film and stage actress. Born in New York City on 3 August 1918, she began appearing in films in the early 1940s and continued into the 1970s. She is credited as Flashy Girl (uncredited) in The Treasure of the Sierra Madre (1948).
Her other film roles include Gachi in Blood and Sand (1941) and a nightclub dancer (uncredited) in Mighty Joe Young (1949). She also appeared in The Man from U.N.C.L.E. (1964) as a countess. On Broadway she performed in The French Touch (1945) and Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep (1950).
Dalya was married to lyricist Bob Hilliard from 1949 until his death in 1971. She died in Los Angeles on 25 November 1980.
