Biography
Jacqueline Tong is an English actress who trained at Rose Bruford College. She is best known for playing the housemaid Daisy Peel (later Barnes) in the ITV period drama series Upstairs, Downstairs (1973–1975).
For the role she received a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series in 1977. Subsequent television credits include appearances in Coronation Street (1982), Hard Times (1977), Spearhead (1978) and Growing Rich (1992). Film roles include How to Get Ahead in Advertising (1989), Princess Caraboo (1994) and Angel (2007). She has also worked in theatre and radio.
