Biography
Jaimie D'Cruz is a British documentary film producer and director. He began his career as a music journalist, founding and editing the hip hop magazine TOUCH between 1990 and 1998. From 1998 he made television documentaries for Channel 4.
His first feature-length documentary not made for television was Exit Through the Gift Shop (2010), directed by Banksy, on which he served as producer. The film received an Academy Award nomination for Best Documentary Feature. In 2011 he co-founded the independent production company Acme Films with Francesca Newby.
