Biography
Jake Schnesel is a writer and producer working in American television. He began in production roles as an assistant to executive producer Dan Fogelman on series including Pitch (2016) and This Is Us (2016), and as a producer's assistant on the film Life Itself (2018).
Schnesel later contributed as a writer to This Is Us (2020–2022), with credits on three episodes. He has worked extensively on Only Murders in the Building (2021–), progressing from assistant to Dan Fogelman (2021–2022) through staff writer, story editor and executive story editor positions to writing three episodes across seasons three to five, and serving as co-producer from 2026.
