Jake T. Austin is an American actor. Born Jake Austin Szymanski on 3 December 1994 in New York City, he began his career in commercials at the age of seven.

He is best known for playing Max Russo in the Disney Channel series Wizards of Waverly Place (2007–2012) and its television films, and for voicing Diego in the Nickelodeon series Go, Diego, Go! (2005–2011). Other credits include the role of Jesus Foster in The Fosters (2013–2015) and voice work as Fernando in Rio (2011) and Rio 2 (2014), and as Alex in The Emoji Movie (2017).
