Biography
Jake Thomas is an American actor and director. Born on 30 January 1990 in Knoxville, Tennessee, he is the son of actor and radio personality Bob Thomas and actress and television reporter Kim Simms Thomas.
Thomas began acting as a child, appearing in commercials and stage productions before securing guest roles on series such as 3rd Rock from the Sun. He played Martin Swinton in A.I. Artificial Intelligence (2001), for which he received a Young Artist Award, and starred as Matt McGuire in the Disney Channel series Lizzie McGuire (2001–2004) and its 2003 feature film. He has also appeared in episodes of House, Criminal Minds, NCIS and other series, and works as a commercial photographer and director.
