Biography
Jalil Lespert is a French actor, director and screenwriter. He was born on 11 May 1976 in Paris.
He made his screen debut in 1995 in Laurent Cantet's short film Jeux de plage, appearing alongside his father. His breakthrough came with the role of Franck in Cantet's Human Resources (2000), for which he received the César Award for Most Promising Actor in 2001. Lespert has since acted in films including Tell No One (2006) and Infinity Pool (2023), in which he played Alban Bauer.
As a director, his credits include 24 mesures (2007), Headwinds (2011) and the biopic Yves Saint Laurent (2014). He has also directed episodes of the series Versailles (2015).
