Biography
Jamal Olori is a writer, producer and director. He contributed to the FX series Atlanta (2016–2022) as a writer, story editor and staff writer across 20 episodes, later serving as supervising producer.
His further writing credits include episodes of Swarm (2023) and Saturday Night Live (2018), the screenplay for the film House Party (2023) and the story for Guava Island (2019). He has also written and directed American Dream: The 21 Savage Story (2024).
Olori received a Primetime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Writing for a Variety Series for his Saturday Night Live work. He shares a Writers Guild of America nomination and a Peabody Award connected to Atlanta.
