Biography
Jameel Khan is an Indian actor. He was born on 26 November 1974 in Bhadohi, Uttar Pradesh, and was educated at Sherwood College, Nainital, and Aligarh Muslim University. He moved to Mumbai to pursue an acting career.
Khan is known for his role as Asgar Khan in Gangs of Wasseypur (2012) and its sequel, and as Santosh Mishra in the web series Gullak (2019–), for which he won two Filmfare OTT Awards for Best Actor in a Comedy Series. Other film credits include Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela (2013), Baby (2015) and Beneath the Sea of Lights.
