Biography
James A. Baffico is an American actor, director and producer. Born on 1 January 1942 in San Francisco, California, he holds a Ph.D. from the University of Michigan and M.A. and B.A. degrees from the University of Nebraska. He began in regional theatre and university teaching before moving into television.
Baffico is known for his role as Wooley in George A. Romero's Dawn of the Dead (1978). Other acting credits include Knightriders (1981), All the Right Moves (1983), Silver Bullet (1985) and episodes of Law & Order and Law & Order: Criminal Intent. He has directed multiple episodes of daytime soap operas including All My Children, Days of Our Lives and Another World, earning two Daytime Emmy Awards and several nominations.
He has also worked as a producer and screenwriter on films and series, and is married to Joey Baffico.
