Biography
James Johnston Blanchard is an American actor, attorney and politician. He appears as himself in the 1989 documentary Roger & Me.
Born on 8 August 1942 in Detroit, Michigan, Blanchard served as Governor of Michigan from 1983 to 1991 and later as United States Ambassador to Canada from 1993 to 1996. He holds degrees from Michigan State University and the University of Minnesota.
