Biography
James Bowman is an animation director and storyboard artist. He contributed to BoJack Horseman (2014) in multiple roles, including as director of two episodes in 2020, assistant director, retake animator and storyboard artist.
He directed one episode of Tuca & Bertie (2019), served as animation director on the series, and directed the Netflix interactive short Cat Burglar (2022). Bowman began working on BoJack Horseman as a storyboard artist after being hired by supervising director Mike Hollingsworth at ShadowMachine; he had previously worked on other ShadowMachine productions.
