Biography
James Bradshaw is an English actor. Born on 20 March 1976 in Stamford, Lincolnshire, he trained at the Birmingham School of Acting.
He is known for his television roles as Gordon Grimley in The Grimleys (1999–2001), Duncan in Primeval (2007–2011), DS Geoff Thorpe in Hollyoaks (2014–2018), and Dr. Max DeBryn in Endeavour (2012–2023). Other credits include appearances in Four Lives (2022) as DCI Tim Duffield and The Witness (2026) as DCI Tony Nash.
Bradshaw has also worked in film, with roles in Minotaur (2006) and Brideshead Revisited (2008), and has extensive stage experience, including productions at the Birmingham Rep, Hampstead Theatre and the Royal National Theatre.
