James Cagnard is an American actor, also credited as Jim Cagnard. He was born on 10 September 1943 in Brooklyn, New York.
Cagnard is known for supporting roles in independent films and television. His credits include the part of Michael's Father in Lars von Trier's Melancholia (2011), the Bartender in the 'Horror' segment of Todd Haynes's Poison (1991), and Maj. Gen. Ashford in Stinger (2005). He has also appeared in Swedish and Danish productions such as De drabbade (2003) and En decemberdröm (2005).
