Biography
James Dormer is a British television and film writer. His credits include episodes of the BBC series Spooks (2009), The Musketeers, Wallander, Sinbad and The Fixer, as well as multiple seasons of Strike Back for Sky One and HBO Cinemax.
He created and served as lead writer on the series Beowulf: Return to the Shieldlands (2016) and Nautilus (2024). Other writing credits include Outcast (2014), Medici: Masters of Florence (season 3), Devils, Hijack and Dangerous Liaisons.
Before working in film and television, Dormer was a ministerial advisor and speech-writer, and served as a diplomat in New Delhi.
