Biography
James Edward Barker (born 14 February 1980) is a British composer, music producer and film producer. He was classically trained at Newcastle University and is a relation of the film composer Benjamin Frankel.
Barker began composing for feature films in the mid-2000s, often collaborating with Tim Despic. His credits include Weekend (2011), The Human Centipede 2 (Full Sequence) (2011), Heist (2015), Lean on Pete (2018) and The Courier (2019), on which he also served as writer and producer. He won Best Original Score at the 2017 Les Arcs Film Festival for Lean on Pete.
