Biography

James Griffith is a British composer and one half of the musical duo Toydrum with Pablo Clements. The pair met in 2007 while both were members of the electronic group UNKLE and formed Toydrum in 2012. They work from their studio, the Toy Rooms, in Brighton.

Griffith and Clements compose for film and television. Their credits include the score for the Apple TV+ series Slow Horses (2022–), on which they collaborate with Daniel Pemberton. The music for several seasons received nominations for Emmy, BAFTA and Ivor Novello awards. Other work encompasses Prevenge (2017), This Is England '90 (2015), Detour (2017), The Banishing (2021) and Timestalker (2024).
