Biography
James Martin Lafferty is an American actor, director and producer. He is best known for playing Nathan Scott in the WB/CW series One Tree Hill (2003–2012), appearing in 182 episodes, and for directing four episodes of the series.
Lafferty was born on 25 July 1985 in Hemet, California. He attended Hemet High School before moving to Wilmington, North Carolina, for the role on One Tree Hill. He has directed episodes of other series including The Royals and All American, and has appeared in films such as Oculus (2013) and Small Town Crime (2018), and series including The Haunting of Hill House (2018) and The Right Stuff (2020).
