James Mather is a British cinematographer. His feature credits as director of photography include Lockout (2012), on which he also served as director and writer, Frank (2014), Extra Ordinary (2019), Joyride (2022) and The Velveteen Rabbit (2023).

Television work includes Inside No. 9 (2014) and Krypton (2018). He has received one BAFTA Award.
