Biography
James Pax is an American actor born on 21 December 1961 in Japan. He is known for his role as Lightning in the 1986 film Big Trouble in Little China.
Pax has appeared in films including Invasion U.S.A. (1985), Kinjite: Forbidden Subjects (1989), Bethune: The Making of a Hero (1990) and The Heroic Trio (1993). His television credits include episodes of MacGyver, Matlock and Tour of Duty, and a series regular role in Nasty Boys (1989). He has also worked in Hong Kong and Japanese cinema and holds additional credits under the names James Pak and Bak Chin-Sek.
