Biography
James Tupper is a Canadian actor born on 4 August 1965 in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. He studied acting at Concordia University in Montreal and later earned an MFA from Rutgers University.
He is known for television roles including Jack Slattery in Men in Trees, Dr. Chris Sands in Mercy, David Clarke in Revenge, and Nathan Carlson in the HBO series Big Little Lies (2017–2019). His film credits include Mr. Popper's Penguins (2011) and Playing for Keeps (2012).
