Biography
Jamie Nelsen is an editor and producer, also credited as Jamie Pedroza. She began her career editing reality television series including The Apprentice, Top Chef and Project Runway. She received Emmy Award nominations for her work on those programmes and won the Primetime Emmy for Outstanding Picture Editing for Reality Programming for Project Runway.
Her scripted television credits include episodes of Arrested Development, Insecure (2016) and black-ish, for which she received an ACE Eddie Award for Best Comedy Editing. She served as editor and later producer on the related series grown-ish and mixed-ish. Feature film credits include You People (2023).
Nelsen is Senior Vice President of Post Production at Khalabo Ink Society. She is a founding member of Black in Post and a member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, the Motion Picture Editors Guild and American Cinema Editors.
