Biography

Jane Brennan is an Irish actress. She has worked extensively in theatre, appearing in productions at the Abbey Theatre, Peacock Theatre and Gate Theatre in Dublin, as well as with Druid Theatre Company. She is co-founder of the Bespoke Theatre Company. Several members of her family, including her parents, have also worked in theatre.

Brennan is known for her supporting film roles, including Mary Lacey in Brooklyn (2015), for which she received the IFTA Award for Best Supporting Actress. Other credits include Intermission (2003), Veronica Guerin (2003), Perrier's Bounty (2010) and A Good Woman Is Hard to Find (2019). On television she has played Lady Margaret Bryan in The Tudors (2007) and roles in Bloodlands (2021) and Hidden Assets (2021).
