Biography
Jane Kurson is an American film editor whose career spans from the late 1970s to the present. She began in editorial roles as an assistant editor on Pumping Iron (1977) and progressed to associate editor on The Formula (1980) before taking lead editing credits.
Her feature film credits include Don't Go in the House (1979), Neighbors (1981), The Karate Kid Part II (1986), Beetlejuice (1988), Hot Shots! (1991), Bad Girls (1994) and Monster (2003). She has collaborated repeatedly with directors John G. Avildsen and Jonathan Kaplan. Kurson has also worked in television and received a Primetime Emmy Award.
