Biography
Janice Cooke, also credited as Janice Cooke-Leonard, was an American television director and producer. Born on 16 March 1956, she died on 7 December 2024. She began her career as an associate producer on the series Fantasy Island in 1980, followed by producing credits on Blue Thunder, Werewolf, Hard Time on Planet Earth, Moon Over Miami, The Marshal, Any Day Now and Dawson's Creek.
Her directorial debut was on Any Day Now. Cooke directed episodes of many series, including One Tree Hill (2003), Charmed (1998), The Division, Summerland, Close to Home, Privileged, The Ex List, The Cleaner, 90210, Cold Case, Gossip Girl (2007), Bluff City Law, Station 19 (2018), How to Get Away with Murder (2014), 4400, Swagger, Raising Dion, BMF, Wu-Tang: An American Saga, Joe Pickett and The Irrational (2023). She also worked on the web series Hollywood Is Like High School with Money.
