Biography
Janis Diamond, also credited as Janice Diamond and Janis Fierstein, is a writer and producer. She wrote multiple episodes of the series Law & Order (1990), including story and teleplay contributions, and served as consulting producer on later seasons.
Diamond has written for numerous animated series, among them He-Man and the Masters of the Universe (1983), Beetlejuice (1989), Sonic the Hedgehog (1993), Alvin and the Chipmunks (1983) and Tom & Jerry Kids Show (1990). She created the series The Adventures of Raggedy Ann & Andy (1988). She has also written for Brimstone (1998) and Bull (2000).
She is married to writer and producer Michael S. Chernuchin.
