Biography
Jannik Johansen is a Danish director and writer. Born on 3 March 1965 in Gentofte, he began his career as an assistant director on films including Flickering Lights (2000) before making his feature debut with Rembrandt (2003), which he co-wrote with Anders Thomas Jensen.
He has directed episodes of several Danish television series, including Borgen (2011), Rita (2012), Dicte (2013), Follow the Money (2016) and Ragnarok (2020). His other feature films as director and writer include Murk (2005) and White Night (2007). He is the son of jazz musician, author and journalist Henrik Johansen.
