Biography
Jardel Filho (24 July 1927 – 19 February 1983) was a Brazilian actor. Born in São Paulo, he appeared in numerous films and television productions from the late 1940s until his death.
He is known for his roles in Entranced Earth (1967) as Paulo Martins, Macunaíma (1969) as Venceslau Pietro Pietra, and Pixote (1980) as Sapatos Brancos. Filho had a background in theatre, debuting on stage in 1946, and later worked extensively in Brazilian cinema and telenovelas. He died in Rio de Janeiro while filming the series Sol de Verão.
