Biography
Jared Tristan Padalecki is an American actor. Born on 19 July 1982 in San Antonio, Texas, he began taking acting lessons at the age of twelve. After winning Fox's 'Claim to Fame' contest in 1999 and graduating from high school, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career.
Padalecki's breakthrough came with the role of Dean Forester on the series Gilmore Girls (2000–2005). He is best known for portraying Sam Winchester on Supernatural (2005–2020). His other credits include the films House of Wax (2005), Friday the 13th (2009) and New York Minute (2004), as well as the series Walker (2021–2024). He is married to actress Genevieve Cortese.
