Biography
Amyn Kaderali is a director and writer. He trained at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts Graduate Film Program, where his short film Little Man (1997) won awards including Best Short Film at the Slamdance Film Festival.
His feature debut Kissing Cousins (2008) won the Audience Choice Award at the Asian American International Film Festival. A Disney/ABC Directing Fellowship led to his first episodic television work on Private Practice. He has since directed episodes of Grey's Anatomy (2022–2024), Supernatural (2017–2020), The Resident, Walker, The 100, Charmed and The Winchesters.
Kaderali has also written several holiday romantic comedies, including The Holiday Calendar (2018) and Grounded for Christmas (2019), the latter of which he also directed.
