Biography
Jaron Summers is a writer and author. He received a writing credit, shared with Jon Povill and Maurice Hurley, for the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode 'The Child' (1988). The story originated in an unproduced script Summers co-wrote with Povill for the abandoned series Star Trek: Phase II.
Summers has written for several television series, including The Incredible Hulk (1978), Buck Rogers in the 25th Century (1980), Hart to Hart (1983), Miami Vice (1986) and Diamonds (1987). He adapted his novel The Soda Cracker for the 1989 film of the same name and co-wrote the 1992 film Killer Image. Summers has also published novels such as St. Maarten, Mall and Safety Catch, along with numerous short stories.
