Biography
Jasmine Trinca is an Italian actress and director. Born on 24 April 1981 in Rome, she began her career in 2001 when she was cast by Nanni Moretti as Irene in his film The Son's Room. She received the Guglielmo Biraghi prize as Best New Talent of the Year for the performance.
In 2003, Trinca played Giorgia Esposti in Marco Tullio Giordana's The Best of Youth, for which she won a Nastro d'Argento in 2004. She worked again with Moretti in Il caimano (2006). Trinca has appeared in numerous Italian and international films, including Crime Novel (2005), The Gunman (2015) and On My Skin (2018). She made her feature directorial debut with Marcel! (2022), which premiered at Cannes.
